Parker Elementary Back to School & Open House Information
Open House: Wednesday, August 28, 2024
- 5:00-5:30pm New Parker Elementary Families
- 5:30-6:15pm Last Names A-K
- 6:15-7:00pm Last Names L-Z
Students may bring school supplies, meet their teacher and explore the school. If you cannot attend, please send your school supplies on your student's first day of school. School staff will be available to help students find their classroom when they enter the building via the main entrance or bus.
First Day of School
Parker's first day of school is Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024.
- K-1 students will begin on their assigned week 1 day rotation.
- School Start Time: 9:15am
- School End Time: 3:45pm
Students can enter the building at 9:00am. There is no supervision before this time so we ask that if you are dropping your student off at school, they remain in your vehicle until this time.
K-1 First Week of School (modified schedule)
Kindergarten through grade 1 will participate in a modified schedule the first week of school. Please refer to your Parent Portal to check your student's day rotation assignment. Select Student (upper right corner) > More > Day Rotation.
*please make alternate arrangements for non-school days.
Elementary Class Placements
Elementary class placements will be live on Parent Portal on August 23rd at 4pm.

Changes to Your Student's End of Day
If a change needs to be made to your student's end of day (early dismissal, picking up rather than riding the bus home, etc.) we ask that you send a note with your student, submit an absence request via the Parent Portal before 2pm (More > Absence Request), or call the office before 2pm to ensure that we have ample time to notify your student of the change.
Transportation
Bus routes and bus pick up and drop off times and locations are available in Parent Portal (More > Transportation).

Who are we?
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a group of parent volunteers who facilitate and support school goals to enhance the student and community experience. The PAC supports K-5th grade students.

Mission:
To educate, inspire, and empower through collaborative efforts, fundraising opportunities, supporting students and family events, building the community, offering enrichment opportunities, and sustaining long-term benefits to enhance student and family experiences at Parker Elementary.

Medication Drop Off & General Illness Information
We are requesting that families bring Health Action Plans and medication to the Parker Elementary Health Office during open house.
Ensure that all action plans or doctor's orders are current (dated within one calendar year). Medications must not be expired (we cannot administer expired medications at school) and in their original packaging with the pharmacy label intact. For over-the-counter medications, all items need to be clearly labeled with your student's name. Authorization forms to give medication in school are availabe in our health services office, local clinics or can be downloaded HERE.

Parker Puma Apparel
Each Wednesday, we invite students and staff to show their school spirit by dressing in Parker Puma apparel or colors (red, black and white). Please use this link to order your Parker Spirit Wear. A portion of the proceeds returns to Parker Elementary.
